Katie, this is beautiful! Your class sounds wonderful (that’s what I miss the most about being retired from teaching, at least in the classroom—having students research saints and “paradigmatic figures” who are not yet “officially” in the “canon.” And the Lenten series sounds great as well! You are embodying Scholastic in such a creative way! Blessings!
I am touched by the power & beauty stated so simply. “She could do more because she loved more.” St Scholastica showed that it doesn’t have to be complicated. Another way towards cultivating peace in my heart so that I have peace to bring to others. Blessings for St Scholastica’s feast day.
Thanks Jennifer--exactly, there is a simplicity to Scholastica that feels like a relief to our complex times. Could it be as simple as loving more? Glad this is bringing peace to you and those around you as a result. Happy Feast Day!
Ohhh yes yes yes love this
This really raised me up. Thank you.
Thank you Jacqui, I really appreciate hearing that.

Mary Ann, that means a lot to hear! Yes, exactly...beyond the "canon." :) I hope you are doing well these days, and hope we cross paths again soon.
